The Virtual Leadership Breakfast is a fundraiser to support programs of the YWCA Bellingham, including critical emergency and permanent supportive housing for women experiencing homelessness.

This year’s virtual event includes an optional delivered breakfast with coffee, and your free registration includes an entry to win door prizes which will be raffled off throughout the event. We look forward to hosting an engaging event that you and your loved ones can enjoy from the comfort of your own home!

Rena Priest is the current Washington State Poet Laureate (2021-2023) and an enrolled member of the Lhaq’temish (Lummi) Nation. She is a Vadon Foundation Fellow, and recipient of an Allied Arts Foundation Professional Poets Award. Her debut poetry collection, Patriarchy Blues (MoonPath Press 2017) received an American Book Award and her most recent collection, Sublime Subliminal was a finalist with Floating Bridge Press’s annual chapbook award (2018). A former National Geographic Explorer (2018-2020) and a Jack Straw Writer (2019), Rena holds an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College.
